
Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd Secures Major Contract for Hinkley Point Power Station
Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd, a leading provider of tower crane rental and sales in the UK and internationally, are pleased to announce the award of a significant contract valued at between £2m to £3m. This contract involves painting four drumscreens, wall seals and lock stops which are integral components of the water intakes for the cooling systems at the Hinkley Point Power Station.
Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd is renowned for its extensive fleet of just under 450 tower cranes, 40 HGV trucks, and 400 diesel generators. The company also offers innovative energy solutions, including PUNCH Flybrid and Dumarey Battery Units. Beyond its primary crane rental and sales services, Falcon has a comprehensive in-house shotblast and paint shop, and a fabrication department.
Based in Norfolk, Falcon was initially established in 1974, and employees over 450 people nationwide.
The recently secured contract underscores the capabilities and expertise of our Paint Shop Department, marking one of the largest projects we have undertaken in this division. The drumscreen painting is crucial to ensuring the efficient operation of the cooling systems at one of the UK's most significant power stations.
